Manifesto
Most founders think they are protected by their shareholder agreement. Very few actually are.
Our values
Clarity over complexity.
Trust needs structure.
Prevention, not reaction.
Goodvernance was built by a startup lawyer who has sat across the table from founders in conflict, read their agreements line by line, and watched them discover what their words actually meant. The gaps were never surprising. They were always the same. What was surprising was how preventable they were.
The other founder is a highly qualified engineer who co-founded a startup of his own. He signed the documents, trusted the process, and learned the hard way that understanding a clause and understanding its consequences are two entirely different things. He built Goodvernance because he wished it had existed when he needed it.
The strongest companies are built on clear, actionable trust. Goodvernance exists to give every founder, not just those with expensive lawyers, the visibility they need to run their company with confidence.
Be aware. Stay Ready.
